K airos Youth & Family Services is a private, nonprofit, 501 (c) (3) tax exempt organization dedicated to assisting children between the ages of 12 and 18 who are victims of criminal sexual conduct & sexual exploitation and sexual abuse.
Kairos Youth & Family Services is a comprehensive program working with child victims, helping them to escape the danger of the streets and learn to function and thrive in mainstream society. We take on the role of a loving parent for children who have never experienced a true sense of family.
Kairos Youth & Family Services operates 8-bed treatment facilities located in the greater Loveland area of Colorado. The program provides refuge, food, clothing, an on-site school, therapy and counseling, workability training, inspiration toward emotional and spiritual maturity, and emotional support for healing and volitional change in dysfunctional belief systems.
Kairos Youth & Family Services is a program for children who want a way out, serving as a safe harbor between the streets and a functional, productive and healthy life.

14 Accused in Sex Trafficking Ring in Colorado

DENVER – The Colorado Attorney General’s office says 14 people were indicted on Monday, accused of running a human trafficking ring that trafficked children for sex across the state.
According to Attorney General John Suthers’ office, 22-year-old Patrick Lloyd McGowan, 20-year-old Chad Armand Gow, 20-year-old Roy Manuel Ibarra-Gonzales and 20-year-old Bryan Steven Burns oversaw the ring that involved not only the prostitution of children, but also sold methamphetamine and cocaine.

Loren Fardulis of Loveland will be opening a type of treatment center early next year that — as far as he knows — can only be found in Los Angeles and Sacramento.
Fardulis, founder of Kairos Youth and Family Services, wants to work with teen girls who have been sexually exploited through human trafficking, or child prostitution, to help them heal and become productive members of society. He will start with girls, ages 12-18, living in Colorado but plans to expand his nonprofit nationally and eventually globally.

Kids living as prostitutes in Denver- “This is everywhere”
DENVER – They call it “the life” – the kids who live the life of prostitution. Some of them start as young as 8 years old. That life is closer to yours than you might think.
It’s the life “Rita” from Lakewood talks about like other 21-year-olds talk about college. She asked 9NEWS to hide her face and not share her real name. “I got manipulated into prostitution,” Rita said. “Somebody rolls up on you when you have nothing at all and asks you if you want to make any money, and you do.”
